Interested in Becoming a Member of the Youth Impact Council?

We represent a bold generation of young adult change makers. We welcome applications from emerging and established leaders between ages 18 and 35 who have demonstrated a strong commitment to driving change in their field. Youth Impact Council (Y.I.C.) members are changemakers accelerating youth-led solutions across the globe.

Membership Criteria

Y.I.C. is a referral-based community. This ensures we maintain a high standard of excellence and shared values among members working toward the Council’s mission of advancing intergenerational impact.

Application Process

1. Referral Submission
Applicants must be referred by a current Y.I.C. Member, Board Member, or Advisory Committee Member.

2. Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be between 18 and 35 years old
  • Lead or co-lead a current project, organization, or initiative
  • Demonstrate a track record of leadership and measurable impact in their area of work

     

3. Application Form
Once referred, candidates are invited to complete a formal application, which includes:

Overview of Current Projects and Impact

  • Social Handles and Online Presence
  • Awards and Commendations
  • Two References:
    • One from within the Y.I.C.Community
    • One from an external notable leader or partner
  • A Personal Motivation and Goals Statement

4. Quarterly Review
Applications are reviewed quarterly by the Y.I.C. Board. Candidates are selected based on alignment with the Council’s mission, values, and commitment to collaboration.

5. Notification & Onboarding
Successful applicants are invited to join Y.I.C. for a two-year term. Members are expected to:

  • Actively engage in Council initiatives
  • Contribute to ongoing programs and events
  • Participate in global and local community-building efforts

Members may reapply for a second term, subject to review.
